The three compounds

For round 17, Pirelli selected C3 as Hard, C4 as Medium and C5 as Soft. Formula 1 published the confirmation on 7 October, ahead of the 9–11 October weekend.

What the Sprint changes

Each driver receives 12 sets of dry-weather tyres: two Hard, four Medium and six Soft. The allocation also includes six sets of intermediates and three wet-weather sets. With only one practice session before Sprint Qualifying, teams have less time for on-track comparisons.

The selection is not a prediction

The compound choice does not automatically determine strategy. Track evolution, traffic and session conditions will influence pit stops. The Race Hub shows the confirmed selection; it does not assume rain or a neutralisation will occur.
