A careers event behind the racing
JRP, the company that organises and promotes Super Formula, announced on 16 October that it would participate in Motorsport Shigoto EXPO 2026. The student careers event is scheduled for Saturday, 14 November at Fuji Speedway and Fuji Speedway Hotel. The main organiser is the motorsport committee of the Automobile Business Association of Japan. JRP staff will explain the work involved in running a championship, offering the perspective of people directly involved in the series’ organisation.
The approaching 28 October deadline
Participation is free, with a planned capacity of 100 for the on-site event. The announced application deadline for those places is 28 October 2026, four days after this article’s publication. The intended audience includes high-school pupils, technical and vocational students, university students and postgraduate students. Organisers say detailed prior knowledge of motorsport is not required. The official event page provides the participation conditions and application route for readers considering a place at the Fuji venue.
JRP’s panel and the Romanian time
JRP will join panel B-1 on the work of race promoters and governing organisations, alongside GTA, JAF and MFJ. The session is scheduled for 13:05–13:50 in Japan on 14 November. In Romania, which will be observing EET on that date, that converts to 06:05–06:50. The discussion will also be carried online by Mynavi TV, providing a way to follow the session without travelling to the circuit and hotel venue.

| Activity | Japan, JST | Romania, EET |
|---|---|---|
| On-site programme | 09:30–17:40 | 02:30–10:40 |
| Online programme | 13:00–15:20 | 06:00–08:20 |
| JRP B-1 panel | 13:05–13:50 | 06:05–06:50 |
Careers beyond engineering
The programme covers vehicle development and technical preparation as well as circuit operations, team management and championship administration. JRP’s panel lists video production and distribution, photography, public relations and marketing, business development and sales, event planning and the design of sporting regulations among its subjects. These examples connect a range of interests with specific roles. Students interested in images or communication can explore those paths at the same event as those drawn to engineering and data.
Two different ways to participate
The on-site programme is scheduled from 09:30 to 17:40 JST and includes workplace visits, presentations by job category and discussions with participating organisations. The online window runs from 13:00 to 15:20 JST through Mynavi TV. The official page provides separate online registration routes for Mynavi members and non-members. These formats therefore differ in length and activity. Prospective participants can compare the available schedule and choose the route that matches the parts of the event they wish to follow.
Where to check the details
JRP’s announcement and the Shigoto EXPO page are the reference points for applications and programme updates. Organisers state that session content and times may change. For readers interested in Super Formula’s organisation, the specific item to follow is the B-1 discussion on 14 November. For those planning to attend at Fuji, the next date in the sequence is earlier: applications for the on-site event close on 28 October, ahead of the November careers programme.
